Will it be Tyler?

On Monday night, February 17, on America's Got Talent, Raleigh's own 12-year-old violin prodigy takes the stage with nine other acts to determine this season's winner of NBC's "America's Got Talent: The Champions."

America's Got Talent: The Champions is a live television program similar to AGT, but with contestants taken from the AGT franchise's winners, finalists, live round participants and other notables, pitting the best of the best against one another for the season.

Pre-teen Tyler Butler-Figueroa is currently managed by his mom, Kisua, and has not only found fame enough to land an appearance on the Ellen show, but has overcome serious obstacles on the way.

At only four years old, Tyler was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Searching for a way to express his emotions after being bullied for losing his hair, Tyler turned to the violin. Getting inspiration from another AGT performer, violinist Brian King Joseph from Season 13, Tyler started performing as a street musician and playing local events to raise money for the trip to audition for "America's Got Talent."

AGT judge Simon Cowell gave Tyler the "Golden Buzzer" "on your behalf to the bullies," putting Tyler through to the live show.

According to NBC.com, Tyler is cancer-free and has been in remission for four years.

Watch him against nine other finalists Monday night at 8 p.m. on NBC. Go Tyler!
