RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh club familiar to police lost its liquor license Wednesday.

The North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission revoked the license for Club Envy, at 3201 New Bern Ave., effective immediately.

According to police records, officers have been called to the address more than 200 times since January 2009 on complaints including 31 assaults, 10 disturbances, fighting, one attempted rape, one rape, two shootings, eight shots fired, five stabbings and two strong-armed robberies.

In the latest incident, Andre Dane Gregory, 26, and Lamar Antuan Harris, 26, were shot Monday around 2:30 a.m. Police did not offer more details about that shooting but said the investigation is ongoing.
