Raleigh police seek to ID armed robbery suspect

— Raleigh police are seeking to identify a man who they say robbed two convenience stores on the same night in early May.

The man carried a gun, threatened the store clerk and stole money at the Rose Mart store at 210 E. Six Forks Road around 10:45 p.m. and at a BP store at 6200 Glenwood Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. on May 6, police spokesman Jim Sughrue said.

The man is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall.
