RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for a man who was reported to have exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl Friday morning as she walked to Carnage Middle School.

Investigators say the girl was walking along Sawyer Road around 7:30 a.m. when a nude man pulled alongside her in a car and tried to get her to get in the vehicle.

When she refused, the girl said the man tried to follow her in the car, but then stopped after she ran back to her home.

The man is described as a black male in his 20s with short hair and no facial hair. He may be driving a silver sedan, possibly a 2003-2005 Toyota Camry, police said. Authorities said he was the only person in the car at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information that might help identify the man is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.
