Raleigh police seek BP robber

Raleigh police are trying to identify a man seen in surveillance photos who they say robbed a BP gas station store last week.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are trying to identify a man seen in surveillance photos who they say robbed a BP gas station last week.

Police said a light-skinned black male in his 40s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 pounds, entered the BP at 2750 S. Wilmington St. around 7 a.m. on March 29. He approached the counter, shoved the clerk and stole money from the cash register, police said. 

He reportedly fled in a dark-colored car.
