Police said a white man in his 40s entered the Wachovia bank at 2016 Fairview Road Tuesday afternoon, passed a note to the teller, then fled on foot.

Surveillance video showed the suspect to be about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weigh about 200 pounds. He was wearing a yellow golf shirt, dark pants and a red and white baseball cap, possibly with an Ohio State or North Carolina State logo.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the crime is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-996-3555 or Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
