Raleigh Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

Raleigh police were seeking to identify and locate a man who used a gun to rob a convenience store on Jan. 17.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were seeking to identify and locate a man who committed an armed robbery at a convenience store on Jan. 17.

The man approached the clerk at the Community Mart, 210 E. Bragg St., as though he were about to make a purchase, police said.

Instead, the man pulled out a handgun and robbed the store. He fled the scene on foot.

The suspect stands about 6 feet tall and had a dark complexion. He wore a white, hooded sweatshirt.
