Raleigh Police Need Help Finding Thief

— The Raleigh Police Department is asking for the community’s help to identify, locate and arrest a man who stole money from a Raleigh convenience store.

At about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 24, a man entered the Family Fare Station at 2120 New Bern Ave., approached the counter and asked the on-duty clerk to make change.

He then reached into the cash drawer when it opened, stole currency and ran from the store, according to police.
