The Raleigh Police Department is asking for the community’s help to identify, locate and arrest a man who stole money from a Raleigh convenience store.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Raleigh Police Department is asking for the community’s help to identify, locate and arrest a man who stole money from a Raleigh convenience store.

At about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 24, a man entered the Family Fare Station at 2120 New Bern Ave., approached the counter and asked the on-duty clerk to make change.

He then reached into the cash drawer when it opened, stole currency and ran from the store, according to police.

Anyone with information that might assist the investigation is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-890-3555 or CrimeStoppers at 919-226-CRIME.
