Raleigh police were investigating after they said a man was shot on Tuesday night.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police were investigating after they said a man was shot on Tuesday night.

Police responded to the 1700 block of Trawick Road at around 8:15 p.m. to a call of a shooting. They learned a man was transported to WakeMed by a private vehicle for injuries after he was shot.

Police were still investigating the incident and the scene Tuesday night and did not release any further details.
