Raleigh police investigate pedestrian crash in southeast Raleigh
The Raleigh Police Department is investigating a crash that involved a pedestrian at Rock Quarry Road and Jones Sausage Road Monday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Raleigh Police Department is investigating a crash that involved a pedestrian at Rock Quarry Road and Jones Sausage Road Monday night.
Raleigh police said all of this happened around 9:00 p.m. Monday night.
Police said the pedestrian was in the northbound lane when they were struck by a vehicle. Crews immediately rushed that person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with investigators according to Raleigh police.
The crash took place in the same stretch of road where a Raleigh police vehicle crashed earlier Monday.
