Raleigh Police Hope Surveillance Photo Will Help ID Robbery Suspects

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are trying to identify two men seen in a surveillance photo taken during an armed robbery.

At about 8:20 p.m. on March 22, the men entered the La Rancharita store at 405 Carolina Pines Ave. and robbed it at gunpoint, police said.

Approximately 20 minutes later, officers said, the men committed another armed robbery at the Mi Barrio store at 3913 Western Blvd.

The men are Hispanic and thought to be in their twenties.

The suspect in the foreground of the surveillance photo wore a camouflage cap with the letters “LA” on its front. He had shoulder-length hair, a thin mustache and sideburns. He was estimated to be about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build.

The suspect in the background of the photo wore an orange cap with the numeral “01” on its back. He had a goatee and was about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
