Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police continued to looking for multiple suspects in a shooting and armed robbery that sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday.
The shooting happened at Progress Court around 5 p.m. Sky 5 video from the scene showed officers lining the street, searching nearby businesses for the suspects and evidence.
On Thursday, a video of that shooting surfaced on social media. It is of one of the shooters firing at two vehicles as they drive out of the parking lot. Witnesses confirmed the video of the shooting is accurate.
Police said multiple suspects fired multiple times in the area. Witnesses said those suspects left in multiple getaway vehicles. People were also setting up for a company Christmas party next door.
"We heard probably seven shots fired, looked over, saw a truck, saw a guy out in the parking lot and just saw smoke everywhere," said one witness on Wednesday. "There were a lot of people around. It was still daylight outside. You’re not expecting something like that to happen."
Officials said the person taken to the hospital was hit with a blunt object but they were expected to recover.
On Thursday, people were hesitant to talk or go on camera because they are afraid there are no arrests yet in the case.
