Raleigh police believe overnight shooting, car crash are related
Police are investigating a shooting and a crash in Raleigh on Monday that they believe are related.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting and a crash in Raleigh on Monday that they believe are related.
Officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to a crash at the 1100 block of Cross Link Road at about 3:15 a.m. Police said one man was pinned inside an overturned vehicle, and he also had been shot in the back.
The man, whose name wasn't released, was taken to WakeMed, but his condition wasn't known.
Police said a shooting occurred less than a mile away from the crash, in the 300 block of Rush Street.
