Raleigh police have arrested a suspect in a bank robbery that happened Wednesday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a suspect in a bank robbery that happened Wednesday.

On Friday, Raymond Lee Dean, 56, was charged with common law robbery in connection to the robbery of the First Citizens Bank at 4801 Capital Boulevard shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dean was transported to the Wake County Detention Center.

Investigators said on Wednesday that an unknown man entered the bank, demanded money and fled the scene in an unknown direction. Witnesses didn't see a weapon. Nobody was injured.
