Raleigh police arrest man in robbery of Wells Fargo on New Bern Ave.

Raleigh police on Tuesday arrested a man and charged him with common law robbery in connection with a Monday morning bank robbery.

RALEIGH, N.C. — On Tuesday the Raleigh Police Department announced they arrested a man in connection to a Monday morning bank robbery.

Police say Michael Gray Kelsay, 38, used a note to demand money from a teller at a Wells Fargo bank branch Monday morning at 3959 New Bern Ave.

Witnesses said they did not see a weapon.

He is being charged with common law robbery.
