Raleigh monitoring winter storm ahead of Sunday's Holiday Express
They were lucky enough to snag tickets for Raleigh's popular Holiday Express months ago, but now plenty of families are wondering if it will go on as planned on Sunday thanks to the messy storm in the forecast.
Posted — Updated"The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is closely evaluating weather conditions for the Holiday Express event at Pullen Park on Sunday, Dec. 9," the message said. "Should we decide to postpone, there are two identified weather dates: 12/10 and 12/17."
"Guests may only attend the designated rain date and tickets will not be honored on any other event night," the message says. "If you wish to attend the rain date, tickets will automatically be valid, and no further action is required. If you are unable to attend the assigned rain date and would like to request a refund, you must request a refund by emailing holidayexpress@raleighnc.gov. Your request must be received on or before the scheduled rain date."
