Raleigh man wins top prize in $4M scratch-off game
A Raleigh man has become the latest lottery player in North Carolina to win a top prize. Reginald Miller won the $4 million prize in the $4,000,000 Multiplier Spectacular scratch-off game.
Posted — Updated"It's life-changing, I'm sure," Miller said in a statement. "It's basically going to fund my retirement."
Miller chose to take his winnings in one lump sum, worth $1.6 million after state and federal taxes. The winning ticket was purchased at the JC Mart on Louisburg Road.
Miller beat odds of 1 in 2.5 million to win the top prize. As of Friday morning, two more $4 million prizes, five $1 million prizes to be claimed in the game.
Another $1 million ticket sold in Wednesday's Powerball drawing has also yet to be claimed. It was sold at the Quality Mart on Beryl Road in Raleigh.
