Raleigh Man Slain in Sanford

Sanford, N.C. — A Lillington man was arrested early Monday in connection with the slaying of a Raleigh man, police said.
Police responsed to a report of shots fired in the area of 506 Forrest Ridge Drive shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday and found Ryan Cauthen, 21, of Walnut Street in Raleigh, shot to death.
Angelo Jerome Judd, 19, of 78 Bo Bo White Lane in Lillington, was charged with murder and is being held without bond in the Lee County Jail.
The case remains under investigation.
