<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Raleigh man was killed in a single-car crash late Friday, authorities said.

Mark David Mangrum, 50, was driving on Ebenezer Church Road toward Glenwood Avenue when he lost control in a curve at Dewees Court, according to the State Highway Patrol. His Toyota Prius ran off the road, struck a tree and turned on its side.

Mangum wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was partially thrown from the car, authorities said. Speeding also was a factor in the crash, they said.
