Raleigh man held under $10 million bond on sex charges with juvenile

Ceasar Augusto Arenas, 57, was arrested by investigators with the Wake County Sheriff's Office on Monday. He was charged with first-degree rape of a child, 15 counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and seven counts of sexual offense with a child. The crimes happened over three years, investigators said.

Investigators said the victim shared details with a deputy last month, which led to the arrest. The victim reported the offenses occurred from 2009 to 2012, beginning when she was 12.

Arenas was taken into custody and processed into the Wake County Detention Center. Bond has been set at $9,999,999.
