<b>MONCURE, N.C.</b> — A Raleigh man drowned in Jordan Lake on Monday while swimming near the Moncure area.

According to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office, a witness spotted the man, late identified as Fuad Nagi Busisou, 19, struggling to stay above the water when swimming in the lake near the area of Clark Poe Road at about 3:30 p.m.

Rescue units recovered the body roughly three hours later.
