A Raleigh man was arrested Saturday in connection with the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A 23-year-old Raleigh man was arrested Saturday in connection with the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl.

Marco Baltierra-Carmona, of 2120-206 Larson Drive, was charged with two counts of first-degree rape.

Baltierra-Carmona was being held in the Wake County jail under a $500,000 bond. He was also placed under a detainer by Immigration and Customs Services, which believes he is in the country illegally.
