Raleigh man charged with making meth

Police say a Raleigh man made methamphetamine at his home on Melbourne Road, according to an arrest warrant.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police say a Raleigh man made methamphetamine at his home on Melbourne Road, according to an arrest warrant.

Jason Shane Harris, 38, was charged Thursday with possessing lithium, a chemical used to make meth, maintaining a dwelling for drug use and manufacturing methamphetamine.

He was placed in the Wake County jail under a $150,000 bond.

Harris is due in court Friday morning.
