A Raleigh man faces fraud charges amid accusations that he filed at least three insurance claims for the same vehicle damage.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man faces fraud charges amid accusations that he filed at least three insurance claims for the same vehicle damage.

North Carolina Department of Insurance investigators said Friday that Tuan Anh Bui filed claims for vandalism with the North Carolina Farm Bureau, Progressive and Nationwide in December and February.

DOI criminal investigators said they continue to look into claims Bui filed with other insurance companies as well.

Bui, 35, of 2160 Haig Point Way, faces two counts of attempting to obtain property by false pretenses and one count each of insurance fraud, obtaining by false pretenses and conspiracy to obtain property by false pretenses.

He was placed in the Wake County jail under a $100,000 secured bond.
