Raleigh man arrested after woman shot at Western Blvd gas station

A man was charged in a Sunday night shooting at a gas station on Western Boulevard.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man was charged in a Sunday night shooting at a gas station on Western Boulevard.

Hunter Michael Hall, 22, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. at the Circle K gas station at 4100 Western Boulevard, where a woman was found with what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Hall was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor drug possession and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury. He was being held at the the Wake County Detention Center.

Raleigh police are investigating another shooting in northeast Raleigh on Valley Stream Drive after a person checked in at WakeMed with a gunshot wound. The shootings, originally thought to be connected, have nothing to do with each other, police said.
