Raleigh man accused of embezzling $2K from supermarket

A Raleigh man was arrested Saturday for allegedly embezzling $2,000 from Harris Teeter, according to arrest warrants.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man was arrested Saturday for allegedly embezzling $2,000 from Harris Teeter, according to arrest warrants.

Daniel Tyron Jenkins, 25, of 419 Shanda Drive, was an employee of Harris Teeter at 7400 Creedmoor Road in Raleigh. Police said he embezzled $2,000 from the supermarket Friday. 

He was taken to the Wake County jail, where he was held under a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
