Tuxedos for sale

Are the kids still waffling about their Halloween costumes? Do you need a tuxedo?

You're in luck. The Raleigh Little Theatre will be hosting its bi-annual costume sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at the parking lot behind its Stephenson Amphitheatre near Cameron Village.

You'll find all kinds of clothes that have been used in the community theater's productions from regular street clothes and more than 100 tuxedos (including some for kids) to fantasy items from its production of Pinocchio in the spring, hats and period clothing.

School theater departments, Halloween costume seekers and thrift shop shoppers could score some great finds here ... not to mention the countless grooms that might be in the market for a tuxedo.

If it rains, the sale will move inside the lobby of Sutton Theatre. Concessions will be for sale. It's at 301 Pogue St., Raleigh.
