RALEIGH, N.C. — Fire damaged a Raleigh house early Tuesday, leaving two people displaced.

Crews responded to 2609 Van Dyke Ave. around 1:15 a.m. after a neighbor called 911, according to Raleigh fire officials.

No one was injured, but about 50 percent of the house was damaged.

Neighbors said the owner was in New York and was renting out the home. The renter was also out of town, they said.

There was no word on what caused the fire, but authorities said they do not consider it suspicious.
