Raleigh-Durham #3 on America's Most Frugal Cities list
For the second year in a row, the Raleigh-Durham area has made the top 10 list of America's Most Frugal Cities, according to the Coupons.com Savings Index!

Apparently the Triangle is very interested in printable coupons. Way to go Smart Shoppers!
The list was based on the number of printable coupons that were selected to be printed (not coupons actually redeemed) from Coupons.com and their partners and it was normalized by population.
This is the 7th year that the rankings were compiled by Quotient Technology Inc. (NYSE: QUOT), which runs the popular app and website, Coupons.com.
Shoppers in the D.C. area selected more than 27 million digital coupons in 2017, totaling more than $39 million in savings, which put them at the top of the list.
Washington, D.C.: 2nd year-in-a-row winner
Dallas-Ft. Worth: climbed from No. 5 to No. 2
Raleigh-Durham: edged up from No. 4 to No. 3
Charlotte: fell from No. 3 to No. 4
Orlando: slipped from No. 2 to No. 5
Philadelphia: jumped from No. 11 to No. 6
Tampa-St. Petersburg: dropped from No. 6 to No. 7
Atlanta: jumped from No. 10 to No. 8
Nashville: fell from No. 7 to No. 9
Cleveland-Akron: fell from No. 8 to No. 10
In total, Quotient delivered more than 3.5 billion digital coupons in 2017, the equivalent of 6,747 every minute. Wow!
“America’s Most Frugal Cities list shines a light on cities where the shoppers make sure to stretch their budgets,” said Jeanette Pavini, savings expert for Coupons.com. “Using coupons in the digital age is so easy there’s no reason not to take advantage of them. With little effort, people are saving hundreds of dollars every year.”
Additional top 25 frugal cities include: Boston, MA (#11); Miami/Fort Lauderdale, FL (#12); Virginia Beach, VA (#13); San Francisco, CA (#14); New York, NY (#15); Phoenix, AZ (#16); Indianapolis, IN (#17); Kansas City, MO (#18); Houston, TX (#19) Columbus, OH (#20); Las Vegas, NV (#21) Providence, RI (#22); St. Louis, MO (#23); Cincinnati, OH (#24); Pittsburgh, PA (#25).
