Raleigh City Museum plans walking tour for kids
The June 18 event will take participants on a tour of Fayetteville Street.
Posted — UpdatedBy Sarah Lindenfeld Hall
Learn all about the stories and legends of Fayetteville Street in a walking tour for kids lead by Raleigh City Museum staff.
Participants will hear all about the search for Thomas Briggs' gold and the Governor's Mansion mystery. It's best for kids ages 6 and up (with an adult). Children will receive a Fayetteville Street investigation notebook.
The hour-long tour is at 2 p.m. June 18. The program is free, but limited to 25 people. So registration would be a good idea. Call 919-832-3775, ext. 23 to RSVP.
The museum is located in the Historic Briggs Building, 220 Fayetteville St., downtown Raleigh.
