So I will turn it her Teoh City attorney Robin Tatum. Okay. Thank you, Mayor. Just as a reminder we met. We've already met wants to determine the process. But just as a reminder, the city charter and the state statutes placed the responsibility with City Council. Teoh fill an unexpired council term where there's been a resignation or someone leaves for some other reasons. So it's up to the council to make this election Now The clerk, um, has just now, simultaneously with calling the meeting to order, sent an email to each one of the city Council members. Uh, the city clerk has prepared a ballot that has all of the 54 names of the applicants to have an interest in the position. That ballot will be similar one you've seen in other situations. What we would like you to do is to open that ballot from your email and fill in your name and select your number one candidates. Now, once that happens, the clerk will be able to see the results, and she will tally the number and announce how each council member voted and the number of us that each person who received at least one vote got. Now, if there are five votes in the process will be over. Um, if there are not five votes for any individual candidate, we will start a second vote round. But I will hold off on that until we get the first results and see if we have a candidate. Eso having done that? Has everyone received their emails? Yes. Okay. Okay. I would ask everybody to submit their ballot to the clerk. Please has ever won received your ballot. Okay, Okay. And you're cementing its technologies catching up with this. We will give you a tally. And just a minute somebody can challenger tell us about what they did over the weekend or what they plan to do. I didn't claim to do among along, but I don't want you to be bored. They're coming and they're coming. And that's with big. I would tell you coming in first, but that's gonna be a surprise. They are time. They are time. David, Wait. We can hold it against you later on. We're getting there. They're coming. I need more Gail banter at all of our meetings, if that's possible. Yes, I need Morgan Monologues. That more of our meeting. Well, we won't make you continue. Have always wanted to have the mic, Charlie. Goodnight. Closed over closest before I get off work so I can go and entertain. But I love to it. Wait, we can we can talk about it. Uh, I'm watching the votes over here, and I've decided I do not want to work with the Board of Election. Good. Thank you. Okay. Are you mute myself? You ready? Uh, common conference racing. One bug from Mr Cock nor made in a sport received six. That would be the remainder Bowling branch Buckskin Night melted. And Stewart, you look like you've lied. That made it in one round. This fort received six, but some the requirement of five or more. So I was I don't know whether this is end my mom monologue, but I would declare her the winner. Um, thank you, everyone. Um, I would just like Teoh say that we will staff will be in touch with, um our newest council member to schedule the oath of office. Also orientation and other, well, other things that are necessary to get her on board it. Um and I guess we don't have a date or specifics at this time, but that will occur. Um, our next meeting of the council is August 18th. And at that time, Miss Fort will join us after completing her orientation process. Um, I think to it, we need to note that this is kind of it's not kind of. It is a historic moment in the city of Raleigh. This is the first African American woman who, um, will serve on the City Council. Um, and proud of that and also highly qualified. So I want to thank everybody for going through the process.
