Posted — UpdatedDue to an influx of cats needing loving homes, SAFE Haven for Cats is reducing adoption fees to just $5 on Friday as part of its Clear the Shelter adoption special.
The no-kill animal shelter hopes to leave no kitty behind in an effort to save lives in the Triangle.
The shelter needs to adopt at least 35 cats to make room to meet the needs of the community. Just last week, the Wake County Animal Shelter was overrun with pets, and SAFE Haven took 13 cats to ensure no cat was euthanized.
You can stop by the shelter to meet the furry felines yourself, or you can check out the shelter's adoption gallery online.
SAFE Haven is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter at located at 8431-137 Garvey Drive in Raleigh.
