Summer pattern brings humid days, chance for thunderstorms
Every day of the next four shows at least a chance for thunderstorms in the hottest part of the day.
Posted — UpdatedFor Tuesday night, scattered showers could come together for some heavier rain around sunset. Then the rain chances ease up a bit overnight – to only 40 percent – before surging again for the daylight hours.
At any given time across the Triangle, it could be rainy, people could hear a rumble of thunder, or you could get a rare peek of sun shining through.
That pattern repeats on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with high temperatures in the mid-80s and a steady 60 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms.
The clouds ease out over the weekend, leaving only a partly cloudy outlook but without the rain.
