Rain exits Triangle, chance for more showers through weekend
Storms that rolled through North Carolina Wednesday didn't impact us as much as it did other parts of the state.
Posted — UpdatedWRAL News meteorologist Mike Maze said Wednesday night we are likely to be in store for more storms in the Triangle and other parts of the state for Thursday. In fact, there's a 40 percent chance of rain every day through at least Sunday. However, Maze emphasized it wasn't going to be a total washout for the weekend.
By the end of the weekend, Raleigh could see 1.25 inches of rain.
The rain will bring cooler temperatures. While Wednesday’s high will be 93 degrees, Thursday’s high will be 89 degrees, and Friday’s will be 86 degrees.
