Raeford man charged with attempted murder after shooting

RAEFORD, N.C. — A Raeford man was arrested Thursday after deputies say he shot two people.
David Warren Brown, 47, was charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping.
The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office said that Warren shot a woman and her father on Peaceford Avenue on Thursday.
He was held on $500,000 bond.
