Raeford man accused of fatally shooting stepfather
A Raeford man is charged in connection with the shooting death of his stepfather.

RAEFORD, N.C. — A Raeford man is charged in connection with the shooting death of his stepfather.
Sheriff's deputies said Timothy Dawayne Locklear got into an argument on Saturday with his stepfather, Stoney Locklear. The stepfather was then shot to death at his home on Old Maxton Road in Raeford, deputies said.
Timothy Locklear was charged with first-degree murder. He was being held Sunday in the Hoke County jail without bond.
