Races to Shut Down Raleigh Roads Saturday

A half-marathon will shut down some roads in downtown Raleigh Saturday. Participants will gather on South Wilmington Street between Hargett and Martin at 7 a.m.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A half-marathon will shut down some roads in downtown Raleigh Saturday. Participants will gather on South Wilmington Street between Hargett and Martin at 7 a.m.

There will be a 5K race beginning at 8:05 a.m. at the same start line. A 1 mile run will start at 11:15 a.m. on Fayetteville Street. Also, the 400 block of Fayetteville Street will be closed from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
