RALEIGH, N.C. — Pump It Up, the popular play space and party venue, just got bigger.

The north Raleigh business recently expanded, adding 16,000 square feet that spreads across three large arenas and three new party rooms on two new floors.

The business also is now offering private playdates for up to five kids. The cost is $59.

"Parents would invite their small social circle to a private playdate for one hour of playtime. Brand new equipment, brand new space, extensive sanitizing and cleaning in between the private sessions. And of course, we are following all CDC and [N.C. Department of Health and Human Services] guidelines," owner Kelly McHugh tells me "I know parents are looking for safe ways for kids to burn off some energy and socialize."

Pump It Up also is offering party packages and half-day and full-day camp options.

More information is on Pump It Up's website. It's located at 10700 World Trade Blvd., Raleigh, near Brier Creek.
