RALEIGH, N.C. — After closing last fall because of COVID safety measures, Pullen Park's carousel has reopened.
The popular attraction is open from 10 a.m. to 6 pm., daily. But capacity is limited, so be ready to wait during peak hours.
The kiddie boats also are open, but with limited capacity. And the train will stay close through at least March 29 for regular maintenance.
A wellness check and mask are required when riding the rides. Tickets are $1.50 per person. Kids under one year can ride for free with a paying adult. The park's playground also is open.
The park is at 520 Ashe Ave. near downtown Raleigh.
Raleigh is gearing up to mark the 100th anniversary of the carousel with celebrations and activities starting March 28.
