Publix signs lease for new Durham location
Publix announced on April 1 that they have executed a lease on a new store location in Durham.

DURHAM, N.C. — Publix announced on April 1 that they have executed a lease on a new store location in Durham.
The Publix at Marketplace at Ellis Crossing will be located on the northeast corner of Watchorn Street and Ellis Road in Durham.
This grocery store will be approximately 45,000 square feet. An opening date has not yet been shared.
This is the first Publix for Durham and the tenth store for the Triangle area, including locations in Apex, Cary, Clayton, Fayetteville, Raleigh and Wake Forest. See all the locations on the Publix website.
The most recent Publix to open is located in Clayton at Marketplace at Flowers Crossroads. It opened on Nov. 18.
