Friday night, protesters stopped traffic in northern Wake County. The group NC BORN marched down Falls of Neuse Road in the Wakefield area to protest racism.

This comes after a racially charged letter was sent to a couple in nearby Wakefield Estates.

It wasn't just NC Born protestors. Families who live in Wakefield also came out to protest.

With signs and bullhorns in hand, protestors marched in the street down Falls of Neuse Road, briefly sitting and blocking traffic. They later circled back on to Wakefield Pines Drive where they also voiced their concerns about Raleigh police.

NC BORN wants to see officers involved in deadly shootings arrested.

Protestors left around 9 p.m. Friday.
