Product Review: NestFresh Pasture Raised Organic Eggs
I recently had the chance to try NestFresh Pasture Raised Organic Eggs and share my review.
Posted — UpdatedThe company sent over a couple vouchers for their NestFresh products so I picked up one of the varieties that my store carried which is the NestFresh Pasture Raised Organic Eggs, Large Brown, 12 count.
The container indicates that the eggs are Certified Humane Raised and Handled as well as USDA Organic. The eggs come from "family farms that provide 108 square feet of outdoor pasture per bird," according to the information inside the lid. The hens are also fed organic feed. Their website shares that all NestFresh Eggs are 100% cage free.
When I opened the egg container, I was impressed with how well the eggs were packaged. The plastic container has an extra lid that holds the eggs in place nicely and keeps them well protected.
I made a couple different dishes with the eggs including scrambled eggs and a vegetable omelet. From a taste perspective, I thought they were delicious. They tasted very fresh and the texture was delightful and creamy.
I also noticed that the beautiful brown shells are also harder than other eggs I have bought. It took a couple extra taps to break them which could also explain why none of the eggs in the carton had any cracks, which was nice.
In addition to the line of Pasture Raised Eggs that I tried, NestFresh also offers Non-GMO Free Range Eggs, Cage Free Brown Eggs, Cage Free White Eggs, Organic Free Range Eggs, Omega-3 Eggs, Liquid Eggs, Hard Cooked Eggs and more.
