Private Ambulance Involved in Accident

Smithfield — A private ambulance was involved in an accident with another vehicle Monday morning, authorities said.

One minor injury was reported, but no names were released.

The ambulance, from Johnston Ambulance Service, crashed at Market and Front streets in Smithfield, officials said.
