Burlington police have arrested a man who is accused of setting multiple cars on fire Saturday.

AT SEVERAL HOTELS AND KERRY EARLIER IN THE WEEK AND 4 FIRE STATIONS THE WEEK PRIOR TO. >> NEW THIS MORNING, POLICE HAVE ARRESTED. THE PERSON THEY SAY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING FIRES AT 5 LOCATIONS IN BURLINGTON CAUSING MORE THAN $200,000 IN DAMAGE. SEVERAL OF THE FIRES INVOLVE VEHICLES. POLICE RELEASED THIS SURVEILLANCE PICTURE OF 26 YEAR-OLD MIGUEL AMAYA. HE WAS ARRESTED FACES CHARGES OF ARSON BREAKING AND ENTERING AND BURNING OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. Meteorologist, Amy Wilmoth in the severe weather center should be a nice finish to the weekend. We'll have a nice breeze out there. We could have some gusts at about 20 to 25 MPH. This afternoon, we'll have a mix of sun and clouds, probably more clouds than sun throughout the day. But temperatures will be close to 15 degrees cooler compared to yesterday. Thanks to a cold front, yesterday was a high stay so far this year with a high of 89 at R D U. We should stay at about 76 in Raleigh and Durham today, 79 in Fayetteville, 74 in Rocky Mount, 77 for the high in southern Pines. So just a nice day out there. Maybe you want to eat dinner outside, do some grilling. It's going to be great weather this evening. Maybe you're headed to the Durham Bulls game. Temperatures will be in the low seventies through six will fall to 67 by seven o'clock, 64 at eight o'clock and 61 by nine o'clock. So again, it should be very comfortable outside during the evening. Here's a look at future cast and we'll have mostly cloudy skies with a few peaks of sun. This afternoon. We will stay dry throughout the day today. I know some of you had a couple of showers around yesterday, but it will be a dry finish to the weekend. Heading into Monday should be very comfortable in the morning. 54 for the low temperature Monday morning, 81 for the high on Monday. So it does get warmer in the afternoon and mostly sunny skies. Just a slim chance for a shower. Late Monday into early Tuesday, 84 for the high temperature Tuesday with mostly sunny skies. Wednesday, we will have a high of 82 couple of showers around overnight. Wednesday into very early Thursday morning, Thursday. We'll have a high of 81. We're back up to 84 on Friday and 86 for the high temperature next Saturday.

I hurried to the scene and found out more than 3 cars were on fire at night; plus I realized that a man was walking at 3 a.m. around Burlington setting cars on fire around the area."
