Power restored to Raleigh residents

Power has been restored to about 4,000 Progress Energy customers in Raleigh Sunday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Power has been restored to about 4,000 Progress Energy customers in Raleigh Sunday morning.

A company spokesman said that a regulator went out at a substation around 12:30 a.m., causing the outage.

The outage affected customers in the area of Hillsborough Street, Western Boulevard and Dan Allen Drive.
