Power outage in Durham
DURHAM, N.C. — Power has been restored to nearly 2,000 people in Durham on Sunday afternoon.

The outage, which was reported at 8:24 a.m., was "caused by fallen trees or limbs damaging our equipment," according to Duke Energy.

It is unclear if the ice had anything to do with the fallen limbs or trees.
