Power Restored to Hundreds of Cary Residents

Power is back on for more than 800 residents in Cary following an outage.

CARY, N.C. — Power was restored Monday for more than 800 residents in Cary following a brief outage.

An contractor drilled through an underground power line, knocking out power in the Regency Park area near Kildaire Farm and Tryon roads, according to Progress Energy.

Progress Energy said power was restored to all houses shortly before 1 p.m.
