Power restored to 20,000 people in Wake, Johnston counties
According to outage maps from Duke Energy, over 20,000 customers lost power late Thursday night.
Posted — UpdatedPower was restored Friday to more than 20,000 residents in Wake and Johnston counties after an outage at a substation.
According to Duke Energy, over 10,000 customers lost power Thursday night in Johnston County and over 11,000 lost power in Wake County.
Power was restored to all customers around 1 a.m.
Crews said a power outage at the substation caused the massive outages.
