Raleigh, N.C. — A Progress Energy feeder system went out Friday night just before 11:30, affecting about 4,000 customers, the company announced.
Progress Energy officials said that an equipment problem caused the outage, which lasted for an hour and 10 minutes.
Crews restored power by 12:30 a.m., officials said.
The affected area stretched along Western Boulevard toward Cary and included Buck Jones Road and Athens Drive, officials said.
