A power outage in the Mini City area of north Raleigh caused traffic delays Friday morning, police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A power outage in the Mini City area of north Raleigh caused traffic delays Friday morning, police said.

The affected roads included Capital Boulevard, Millbrook Road, Spring Forest Road, Green Road and other streets east and west of Capital, police said.

Progress Energy crews restored power to the area after about an hour, police said.

There was no word on the cause of the outage.
